SUNDAY SERVICE: Matthew 27:11-31 - The Passion: The Silence of the King, good news for mankind!

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the Auditorium, a former church building reconverted to be a cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with our series on Matthew's Gospel - The King & his Kingdom!

With Nino we'll engage with Matthew 27:11-31 - The Passion: The Silence of the King, good news for mankind!
Jesus, the King of kings remained in royal Silence, enduring every outrage because He had before himself the purpose of God the Father, who had determined that His Son was appointed as a sacrifice to atone for our sins!
"When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly." 1 Peter 2:23

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Halloween: Nyctophobia or Photophobia?

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Halloween: Nyctophobia or Photophobia?

We'll play lots of fun games like: Nyctophobia or Photophobia?, The Web, I Ate Your Candy, Good Apple/Bad Apple, Trick or Treat?, The History of Halloween, Twisted Halloween, Happy Halloween?, The Light shines in the darkness, Freestylers in Disguise, Sky full of Stars, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from John 1:5-12, 3:16-20, 8:12. Halloween shows us how often people love the darkness rather than the light, yet the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it, and then Jesus came into our darkness saying to us today: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

AppMatthew - Mid-Week Bible Study

Tomorrow evening we'll have our AppMatthew (Applying Matthew's Gospel), our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting with what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday services

We'll meet at the Bookshop-Café La Terza Stanza, in Budrio. Stefano will lead this time where, as church-family we'll engage with Matthew 26:31-27:10.

SUNDAY SERVICE: Matthew 26:69-27:10 - The Passion: A fall to perdition and one to redemption!

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

With Stefano we'll engage with Matthew 26:69-27:10 - The Passion: A fall to perdition and one to redemption!
The only difference between Peter's fall to redemption and Judas' fall to perdition is Jesus!
"For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death." 2 Corinthians 7:10

MySpace Club 4 Teens - What Did You Say? 1: Complaining!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: What Did You Say? 1: Complaining!

We'll play lots of fun games like:
Birthday Line-up, Stay Afloat, What’s the worst?, Sit down and complain, How a forest is set ablaze, Salty Sip, Thank-Full, Thankful Thoughts, Are you Thankful?, Cheerful Challenge, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Philippians 4:4-8. Sometimes we focus on things that go wrong, that worry us, that make us feel anxious, and so we start complaining that everything is bad! Instead, Paul tells us that it's possible to not be anxious about anything, when we put everything into God's hands - that is one of the aspects of prayer! In this way we stop focusing on the negative, and we begin to see how many positive aspects there are in our lives, for which we can be thankful to God. Because God wants to guard our hearts and our minds in Jesus!
