Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio.
We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.
At 10.30 we'll start our service
with a time of worship and prayer.
It will be great to have with us the Brown Family.
Chris will preach from Mark 1:40-2:12
"Purity & Forgiveness"
Nino & Jeny will lead our children's programme based on The Gospel Project,
in which week by week kids engage with God's Word and families will have activities to keep interacting on the same Bible passage during the week!
Tomorrow afternoon we'll be at the first Walk for Peace in Budrio - walking through the most significant places of worship and community of our town.
This event promoted by the Town Hall,
desires to give a positive answer in this time of fear and uncertainty after the events in Paris, Nice, Berlin, Ankara and Aleppo!
As a church we decided to adhere to this event alongside other religious and cultural associations as an opportunity to share the true peace that only Jesus can give.
We were asked to choose a "man of peace" to embody the Evangelical view of a peacemaker, so we thought to introduce Budrio community to the figure of John Newton and his conversion from rebel to preacher, from slave-trader to campaigner for the abolition of the African slave trade.
In the booklet distributed during the day by Budrio Town Hall, we wrote this great quote by John Newton
God has
given us His infallible Word, and promised us His infallible Spirit— to guide us
into all necessary truth!
In the study of His infallible Word, and in
dependence upon His infallible Spirit, none can miss the way of peace and
salvation, who are sincerely desirous to find it.
During the walk, the first stop will be @ the theatre we rent for our Sunday services. While people will walk through we'll sing Amazing Grace whose words people will be able to read in the booklet.
At the end of the walk,
we'll all meet in Budrio main square
where Stefano will have the first speech
to present the Biblical view of peace with God and between men.
Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.
We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school
programme.
In this way we have a fantastic room with a courtyard in
Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

Tomorrow morning,
Stefano & Justin will be @ the Vocational-School of Budrio.
We'll speak to a 2 year class during their RE lesson as part of a project to introduce students to the different religious communities in Budrio.
We've been asked to explain who we are, our history, what we believe and how we live our faith in the community.
We'll start our presentation with some clips from the Luther movie, connecting with the 500th anniversary of Reformation, when in 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95
theses to the Wittenberg door.
Yet, our main goal is to engage kids with the 5 Solas of Reformation which still today is a great summary of who we are and what we believe!
Then we'll explain how Jesus' extraordinary Gospel of Grace transform ordinary people who live ordinary lives to have a passion for sharing Jesus' love to their community!
This is our desire to live a Gospel-centred life in Budrio!
Tomorrow afternoon we'll have Uncover Luke,
a programme 4 older teens to help them
interacting with the Gospel!
We run these meetings once a month in the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church.
Uncover - See for Yourself!, is an interactive Bible Study for Young Adults created by UCCF to engage with Luke's Gospel, which was written as an investigation into the life and purpose of Jesus Christ. Uncover will help us to investigate Jesus’ claims and experience the life he offers.
Tomorrow we'll engage with Luke 15:11–24 and we'll see that when the rebel, prostitute-loving son, comes home, the moral religious son stays outside and is lost forever. We'll ask ourselves: which one are we?

Jesus!
Our desire is to keep committing to the Lord in prayer all we think, plan and do, so to be guided by Hid wisdom and vision.
We also work to build up our church to have a passion for our community
with a global vision for the world-wide work of the Lord!
Christianity Explored is a great way to
