Youth for Christ Italy: Board Meeting + Members annual meeting

Tomorrow morning Stefano will be at the National Board meeting of YfC Italy.

Please pray for all the board members to be led by God's wisdom and vision in dealing with the review of last year activities and especially for YfC Italy vision, goals and strategies for next year and the longer terms!


In the afternoon we'll also have the annual meeting of all the members from around Italy.
It will be a great opportunity to share our vision and prayer challenges!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Hearts of War!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way we have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.





 

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material,
interacting with the theme: Hearts of War!

We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: 
Dragon Tag, Hacksaw Ridge, True Vs False, 
Agree/Disagree, How it's Made, Peace or No Peace, 
Rugby's Third Half, Finding Hope, Hope Carriers,
which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk
from Romans 15:13!

AppGenesis - Mid-Week Bible Study - Genesis 18-19

Tomorrow evening we'll continue with

App Genesis (Applying Genesis), 

our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting & applying what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday Morning services.

Stefano will lead this time where as 

church-family we'll engage with what 

we are studying from the book of 

Genesis chapters 18-19!

Christianity Explored @ Le Torri Lounge

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our monthly
Christianity Explored Course,
for every age-group!

Christianity Explored is a great way to give people space and time to think about the big questions of life.

We run these public meetings hosted by the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church!

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Mark 10:17-22 What does Grace mean?

Over 10 sessions in Mark's Gospel, we'll find out about the life and the teachings of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.

At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing our series on the book of Genesis.
With Stefano we'll engage with
Genesis 20 Our God keeps revealing Himself to the individual and to the nations!
We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ
who reveals us The Father
and chose to stay on the Cross, to save us!

The Gospel Project, in which week by week kids engage
with the same passages from Genesis and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week!

Prayer & Envisioning Meeting

Tomorrow evening Nino will lead our mid-week prayer & envisioning meeting in our home.

Our desire is to keep committing to the Lord in prayer all we think, plan and do, so to be guided
by Hid wisdom and vision.

We also work to build up our church to have a passion for our community with a global vision for the world-wide work of the Lord!

March Outreach @ Budrio

Yesterday afternoon we had a great time @ Budrio Spring Festival!

The church stall, where we offered traditional food from the various Italian regions and nations where our members are from, was really appreciated!
People really enjoyed the Recipes Book we offered with all the recipes, stories from
our families and Bible verses connected.
We had some good Gospel conversations and we offered to those people a Bible and a copy of Tim Chester's Book: A meal with Jesus!

We had a really blessed time in these days hosting the amazing team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School. 

Join us in praying the Lord of the Harvest to work in the hearts of the many who heard His Gospel explained and testified.

Pray for the many relationships 
we are strengthening with local authorities, schools, teachers and families. We also had great time with new friends coming to our church family and enjoying serving with us!

March Outreach @ Budrio Spring Festival

Today we had a great day with the 3 classes @ Budrio High School with the team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School. 

We had some incredible Gospel conversations with three girls who asked how to know Jesus in a real and meaningful way! Please pray that the Lord will stir their thirst for His Word and that we'll be able to follow them up!

We had an equally good afternoon at the Budrio Spring festival, where everyone enjoyed Coach Billy's sympathy and his way to share our hope in Christ!

We had some good conversations with a couple of parents that thanked us for engaging with their kids and talking about the Lord's love for them!

It will be great to fellowship with the team tomorrow @ our Sunday morning service!

In the afternoon we'll continue our presence @ Budrio Spring Festival, with a church stall where we'll offer a selection of traditional dishes from every city where our church members are from! 

We prepared a Recipes' Book with all the recipes, some family anecdotes and a Bible verses connected, that we'll offer to everyone!

 

We'll also offer copies of Tim Chester's Book: A meal with Jesus!

Luke's Gospel is full of stories of Jesus at meals. And these meals represent something bigger. Tim shows how they enact grace, community, hope, mission, salvation and promise.

Join us in praying for this new Gospel opportunity.

Pray that we'll be part of Budrio's community in celebrating with our fellow-citizens, but above all in sharing in words and actions the love of our Lord Jesus: the bread of life!

March Outreach - Baseball Clinic @ Budrio High-School + Spring Festival

Today we had a great day @ Budrio middle school engaging with more than 300 kids. 

Now we established a great relationship with many teachers, which year after year invite us to do our programmes with their students.

It is always encouraging to see the American teens' passion to share the Lord's Gospel with their Italian peers! 

We also had a really good time @ the MySpace club in the afternoon.
Some new kids came including 4 from the HUB for under-age asylum seekers.

We played many fun games all together with the team from Arkansas, and Billy gave a really powerful Talk about Jesus' love for messy and broken people!

Tomorrow morning from 8am to 1pm

we'll be @ the high-school of Budrio where Jenny teaches English.

We'll play baseball with 2 classes for a total of about 50 students!
This is the first time we are invited by a new sport teacher!

In the afternoon we'll take part at the first Spring Festival,
for the 10th Anniversary of Budrio Council of Associations!

The team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School 
of Little Rock, will take part in the afternoon programme!

At 3.30pm Coach Billy Goss will first hold a baseball clinic in Budrio's main square, to teach the basics to everyone participating at the Festival.
Then at 4.30pm we'll move to the train station park,
for a real baseball game!

Join us in praying for this opportunity to engage with many families from Budrio's community and to share God's love for them in words and actsions!

March Outreach - Baseball Clinic @ Budrio Middle School

Today we had a great day @ the new HUB for under-age asylum seekers in Budrio, which hosts about 40 teenagers.

It was great to see them having a fun afternoon playing with their peers from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School of Little Rock and we were very moved when some of them shared their stories and thanked us so much for sharing with them God's Word and love!

We had also a really nice fellowship time with the special Pizza night with our church family!


It is so good to see how a real faith and love for the Lord transcend language and cultural barriers!

Tomorrow morning from 8am to 1pm

we'll be at the middle-school of Budrio.

We'll play baseball with more than 150 kids and the American teens will have the opportunity of sharing their hope in Jesus with all them!

In the afternoon the team will help @ 

our My SpaceClub 4 Teens

which we offer during the school-year.

March Outreach - Baseball Clinic @ Migrants HUB

Tomorrow afternoon the team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School of Little Rock, USA will arrive in Budrio. 

This is the 5th year we host a team lead by Coach Billy Goss and the staff from this school.

This year the group is made of 10 teens and 

4 leaders and they'll stay with us till Sunday for three days of outreach. 

 


Tomorrow from 3pm to 6pm we'll be @
the new HUB for under-age asylum seekers in Budrio.
The HUB hosts about 40 teenagers, mostly Muslims, from Burkina Faso, Gambia, Guinea Conakry, Mali, Nigeria e Senegal who came alone as migrants in Italy.
It will be a great opportunity to have a fun time with them playing baseball, but about all to share with them Jesus' love and hope!

In the evening we'll have a special Pizza time as church where we'll eat and have fun with the Arkansas Team.

It will be nice for our church-plant and some new friends we've invited, to get to know the team and enjoy a fellowship time together!

Mark is co-pastor of Nuova Vita church in Bologna and one of the tutors of Porterbrook
Campus Bologna.
