Easter Family Service

Tomorrow at 10.30 we'll have our
Easter Family Service 
to worship God together and
to proclaim His Word in Budrio.





We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.

With Stefano we'll engage with 
Luke 24:1-29: Why do you seek 
the living among the dead? 
He is not here, but has risen!

As church family, little ones and grown ups, we'll be exposed together to the amazing news of Jesus' Resurrection!
We'll do an activity together to remember how the Resurrection is still a good news is for us today!

Then we'll see how the Risen Lord preached about himself from the whole Scripture to the disciples on Emmaus road!

Justin will conclude with the celebration of the Lord's Supper,
engaging with Luke 24:30-35: The Lord has risen indeed!

Theology for Breakfast with Porterbrook!

Tomorrow we'll continue
with our meeting:  
Theology for Breakfast!

Following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll meet from 9am to 11am @ Central Café
in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissant or
bread + butter + jam,
we'll engage with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!

We'll interact with the Porterbrook module:
The Bible in Missional Perspective.
With Stefano we'll engage with Unit 4:
Our Solution Pictured (Exodus and Sinai)

Together we'll walk through the Bible as the story of God's mission to redeem the world through his Son. We’ll find out why the church is so central to mission, and how to see everyday life through the Gospel lens.

With Justin we'll engage with  
Genesis 48: Redemption brings 
true blessing!
We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ,
so that to proclaim with the apostle Paul:
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me! Galatians 2:20





Giovanni, Marco & Raffaela will lead our children's programme based on The Gospel Project for kids,
in which week by week kids engage with the same passages from Genesis and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

Sunday Service in Chiesa Forte Torre

Tomorrow morning we'll be with our friends from the Forte Torre a young church right at the centre of Bologna reaching out the city and university students.
Forte Torre is also part of that group of like-minded churches we are networking with in order to reach out the Bologna Area.

Tomorrow Stefano will preach from Ephesians 2:4-10
Do we still need The Sola Gratia today?

These will be the main points of the sermon:

II. Grace Vs Works

YfC Italy - Bologna Training Course

Tomorrow we'll have the 4th and final meeting for for this academic year of the
YfC Italy - Bologna Training Course.

Susan, YfC Board Member, will teach about Teaching Scripture to teenagers.
Stefano, will teach about The pornography delusion Vs Jesus' lasting satisfaction!

Please pray for the teachers that we'll transmit Gospel clarity and Jesus' passion for the lost.
Pray also for the students, some of them are YfC staff, some are youth workers in their churches, and for Maura and Marco from our church, who regularly help at MySpace Budrio!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - The Easter FanDom!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school-year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way we have a fantastic room
with a courtyard in Budrio Library
and the social workers are sending
some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.






 
Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material,
interacting with the theme: The Easter FanDom!



We'll play lots of fun games like:

Baseball FanDom, Ultimate fans,

Fan-Tastic Knowledge, He's Still Risen,

Super Simon Says, String Links,

Easter FanDom, Doubting Thomas,

Let's follow, Stick with me, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from 

John 20:24-31 where we'll see how Jesus' resurrection gives us real life today!

AppGenesis - Mid-Week Bible Study - Genesis 46-47

Tomorrow evening we'll continue with

AppGenesis (Applying Genesis), 

our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting & applying what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday Morning services.

Genesis chapters 46-47!

Report about the March Outreach in Budrio with The Baptist Prep. Team from Arkansas

Last week we had a great time of ministry with team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School.
From Thursday to Saturday we've engaged with more than 600 students from the middle school and high school of Budrio.
We had great opportunities to share Jesus' love to these kids as well as great conversations with teachers!
We had also a great time @ 
the HUB for under age asylum seekers 
and with Budrio's Mayor!

Christianity Explored - Uncover Luke

Tomorrow afternoon we'll continue our Christianity Explored Bible Study,

for every age-group!
We have now a regular group of students,
so after having completed our studies on
the Gospel of Mark, we'll interact with the Gospel of Luke, using the Uncover material.

We run these public meetings hosted by the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church!

Uncover - See for Yourself!,
is an interactive Bible Study  created by UCCF to engage with Luke's Gospel, which was written as an investigation into the life and purpose of Jesus Christ.
Uncover will help us to investigate Jesus’ claims and experience the life he offers.

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Luke 15:11–24 and we'll see how Jesus does not divide the world into good people and bad people. Each one of us resists God and seeks our own ends and, equally, each one of us is loved by God and invited back into an intimate, joyful, satisfying relationship with him, likened to the great feast in the parable!

We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ,
the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep, gathering them from every nation! John 10:11-16




Nino & Simona will lead our children's programme
based on The Gospel Project for kids,
in which week by week kids engage with the same passages from Genesis and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

March outreach: Budrio High School

Tomorrow  we'll conclude our outreach with the team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School.
We'll spend the whole morning @ Budrio High School engaging with 4 classes.

 
Coach Billy Goss will run some Baseball Clinics and the American students will have time to interact with their Italian peers sharing about Jesus' saving grace!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - FanDom!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school-year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way we have a fantastic room
with a courtyard in Budrio Library
and the social workers are sending
some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

interacting with the theme: Fandom!
 

With our friends from the
Arkansas Baptist Prep High-School,
we'll play lots of fun games like: 
Block it, 5 in 7, Fandom defined,
Walking the walk?, Watching the world,
Baseball fandom: fans or followers?,
Laying love down, Elusive following, 
Cosplay,Value it, Centre!
which will serve as illustrations
to Coach Billy's Talk where we'll see how great is to be called Jesus' followers!

March outreach: Budrio Middle & High School

Tomorrow  we'll continue our outreach with the team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School.
We'll spend the first part of the morning @ Budrio Middle School engaging with 4 classes.  
Coach Billy Goss will run two Baseball Clinics and the American students will share about Jesus' hope!

Then we'll move to the High School in Budrio where Jenny teaches English.
We'll spend the rest of the morning offering a Baseball Clinic with one class.
Join us in praying for this Gospel opportunity when the American teens will 
be able to share with their Italian peers 
how Jesus transformed their lives forever!

March outreach: Budrio Middle School & HUB for underage asylum seekers!

Tomorrow  we'll start our outreach with the team from the Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School of Little Rock.
We'll spend the whole morning @ Budrio Middle School engaging with about 250 kids. Coach Billy Goss will run some Baseball Clinics and the American students will share about Jesus' love and saving grace!

 
Then we'll spend the whole afternoon @ 
the HUB for underage asylum seekers in Budrio.

We'll play together Human Foosball & Baseball, offering the migrant kids a nice afternoon with peers!
In the morning a new group of 10 refugees will have just arrived at this home, so they'll be disoriented and unease, so pray that we'll be able to love them with Jesus' love and to share His Hope!

In the evening our church will join for a 
Pizza of the Nations, to share food and Jesus' love, 
enjoying His good grace!

5 years of partnership Little Rock, Arkansas - Budrio, Italy

Tomorrow afternoon 

the team from the 

Arkansas Baptist Preparatory High-School of Little Rock, USA will arrive in Budrio. 

 

This year the group is made of 

11 teens and 6 leaders and 

they'll stay with us till Saturday for three days of outreach 

in the schools and at 

the HUB for under-age 

asylum seekers in Budrio.

 

 

 

 

This is the 5th year we host a team lead by Coach Billy Goss 

and the staff from this high-school.

 

For this special anniversary, tomorrow afternoon we'll be hosted at the council chamber of Budrio town hall, where we'll be welcomed by the local authorities and the team will be interviewed for the town hall magazine.

Join us in praying that the Lord will use this as a Gospel opportunity and that we'll be able to share our love in Christ for our community!
