Tomorrow afternoon we'll continue
our My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school-year.

with a courtyard in Budrio Library
and the social workers are sending
some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

interacting with the theme:
FAQs: Why Isn't God Obvious?

Uncover John 4 older teens - Do you come here often?

Tomorrow afternoon we'll restart with Uncover Club, a programme 4 older teens in partnership with YfC Italia and two other churches in the Bologna area,
to engage with John's Gospel!

Uncover - See for Yourself!, is an interactive Bible Study for Young Adults created by UCCF to engage with John's Gospel. Jesus asks a lot of questions. He provokes questions in others.
Will he help us to make sense of some of life’s big questions as we see for ourselves?

With Stefano, we'll engage with John 4:4-29, 39-42 and we'll see how Jesus smashes through the social conventions of the day and the scandal surrounding one woman’s life and makes her the most astonishing offer.

Jesus locates our emptiness or ‘thirst’ in our alienation from God. He promises to bring us into an intimate relationship with God as Father, which will completely satisfy our thirst.

Christianity Explored - The World We All Want!

Tomorrow evening we'll continue our
Christianity Explored Bible Study,
for every age-group!

We have now a regular group of students,
so after having completed our studies on
the Gospel of Mark and Luke,
we engage with The World We All Want course to discover together the big message of the whole Bible.

We run these public meetings @
the newly open pub in Budrio!
The World We All Want presents the gospel through the Bible story. It presents the biblical world-view that people need if they are to understand the work of Christ.
Often presentations of the gospel are individualistic, focusing on an individual's relationship with God. It then becomes difficult to teach people about the church except in functional terms or terms than contradict the message of grace. The focus of the Bible, however, is on God's plan to create a people who are his people.

Tomorrow with Stefano
we'll continue with Session Five:
we cannot create God's new world - Nehemiah 9

The course begins by engaging with people's desire for a better world, showing how God promises such a world in the Bible and how Jesus gave us a glimpse of that world. This provides a natural point of contact with people; a common aspiration.
It establishes at the beginning of the course a reason why the Bible story is so important. As the course develops, however,
it makes it clear that this world cannot be human-centred,
it must be God-centred.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful."  Hebrews 10:22-23

Budrio Preaching Class

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our Preaching Class meeting.
We're very excited about this opportunity to invest in the lives of Nino & Giovanni to equip them to preach God's Word!
Together we'll engage with Exodus 33
since Nino will preach from this passage
in February!

In this sessions we'll also interact with Stuart Olyott's book Preaching pure and simple.
In his book, Olyott insists that a sermon should be rooted in
accurate exegesis, characterized by doctrinal substance,
Christ–centredness and supernatural authority, as well as being clear, direct, vivid, helpful and moving.
