Sunday Service: The "I wills" of Christ

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio. 









We are glad for the Lord's provision during the COVID restrictions of the School Room Fornasari-Grossi.

At 10.00 we'll start our service with our summer series on The "I wills" of Christ.
With Nino we'll engage with 
Matthew 11:28-30!
Together we'll see see the beauty of Christ who promised: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
 
 
 

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

Prayer Meeting - A Call to Spiritual Reformation

Tomorrow evening we'll have our monthly prayer meeting to grow as church family.

We're very exited to invest in the life of Matteo, who is leading these meetings following D.A. Carson's book A Call to Spiritual Reformation.


In this moment, for our midweek meetings, we'll still meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM.
This month we'll intercede for our church family and for the Gospel opportunities the Lord is giving us in our community!

Uncover John 4 older teens - See for yourself

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our Uncover Club, a programme 4 older teens in partnership with YfC Italia and two other churches in the Bologna area! It will be our last meeting for this school year, and so we'll have a special socially distanced meeting with pizza at the end.

Uncover - See for Yourself!, is an interactive Bible Study for Young Adults created by UCCF to engage with John's Gospel. Jesus asks a lot of questions. He provokes questions in others. Will he help us to make sense of some of life’s big questions as we see for ourselves?

With Yan, we'll engage with John 20:1-31 and we'll see how John shows us people who are sceptical and do not expect the resurrection. Mary, the disciples, Peter, Thomas … they are all presented with evidence and are compelled to change their whole way of thinking?

Exodus 40 - and the glory of the LORD filled the Tabernacle!
Together we'll see see the beauty of Christ, "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth" John 1:14

Theology for Breakfast with Crosslands

Tomorrow we'll have
our series of meetings:  
Theology for Breakfast!

In this moment, because of the restrictions for public meetings due to the coronavirus, we'll meet online through the video conferencing app ZOOM.

We'll interact with the Crosslands module:
Gospel Change. With Stefano we'll engage with Unit 7. Holiness - relationships.
The goal of the Christian life is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29). Together we'll learn how to apply the Gospel to our everyday life. We'll find out how change takes place as God’s truth is applied to the heart, and also how to effectively minster the Gospel to those around us.

Usually, following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll have met @ Central Café in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissant or bread + butter + jam, we'll have engaged with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!
In this moment to support our local economy, we've decided to order from local cafés our breakfasts delivered at home! This is a simple and practical way to keep blessing our beautiful community in Budrio!

Video Missionary Evening with Erin Cline from Samaritan's Purse

Yesterday we had a special missionary evening with Erin Cline from our mission partner church Bethel of Houston.

Erin shared about her experience as nurse at the field hospital set up by Samaritan's Purse in Cremona during the peak of the COVID.

Erin really told us the story of the Lord in those difficult days!

Missionary Evening with Erin Cline from Samaritan's Purse

Tomorrow evening because of the restrictions for public meetings due to the coronavirus, we'll meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM.

We'll have a special Missionary Evening with Erin Cline from Bethel of Houston Church, a mission partner church that for years has been collaborating and supporting our work in Budrio.

Erin is an intensive care nurse who worked as a volunteer in the field hospital that the evangelical mission Samaritan's Purse set up in Cremona, in the midst of the emergency of COVID-19.

We'll have a time to hear her testimony of how the Lord has worked in those weeks and her experience of God's global kingdom during the Corona Virus pandemic.
