Sunday Service: The "I wills" of Christ

 

 

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.  







 
We are glad for the Lord's provision during the COVID restrictions of the School Room Fornasari-Grossi.

At 10.00 we'll start our service with our summer series on The "I wills" of Christ.
With Nino we'll engage with John 6:37-40! Together we'll see the beauty of Jesus' promise: "whoever comes to me I will never cast out, and I will raise him up on the last day."
 
 
 

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

Open Air Movies Festival @ Budrio Square

Tomorrow evening as church family, we'll join Budrio community for the Open Air Movies Festival Cinema Arena @ Budrio Square. 

There will be a traditional summer meal with products from local farmers, followed by the 2016 cartoon movie Ballerina, which follows the adventures of a girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina and gets a chance to audition for the celebrated school of the Paris Opera Ballet.

This is a great opportunity to meet people and to enjoy together a beautiful summer evening!

App"I Wills" of Christ - Mid-Week Bible Study

Tomorrow evening we'll have our App"I Wills" 

(Applying the "I Wills" of Christ), our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting with what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday services. 

 

In this moment, for our midweek meetings, we'll still meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM. 

 

Stefano will lead this time where as church-family we'll engage with what we are learning from Jesus' I Wills in the Gospel of Mark.

Theology for Breakfast with Crosslands

Tomorrow we'll continue
our series of meetings:  
Theology for Breakfast! 
Following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll meet from 9 to 11am @ Central Café in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissants, we'll engage with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!

We'll interact with the Crosslands module: Gospel Change. With Stefano we'll engage with Unit 8. Holiness - conversations.
The goal of the Christian life is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29). Together we'll learn how to apply the Gospel to our everyday life. We'll find out how change takes place as God’s truth is applied to the heart, and also how to effectively minster the Gospel to those around us.

Sunday Service: Visiting Preacher - Mark Oden

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to live His Word in Budrio.

 

In this moment, once a month, we'll meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM. 

At 10.30 we'll start our service and 

Mark Oden, pastor at Neapolis Church in Naples, and council member at TGC Italy will preach from John 17: a prayer of the Son to the Father which reveals the heart of the Son for his disciples. Together we'll see the beauty of Christ who guides us to grow in our knowledge of his person (v5); walking in his mission (v18/20); and building our union (v21/22).

 

 

Jenny will lead our children's programme, in which week by week kids engage with the same Bible passage and families will receive activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week. 

 

 

 

Stefano will lead the celebration of the Lord's Supper, remembering that we are one in Christ! John 17:20-23
