Gospel Living - Summer in Budrio - One generation shall commend your works to another...

As a church, we want to be "in the middle of the square", at the centre of our community life, to serve and welcome, to celebrate and love, to live and share the Gospel (Acts 17:17), the good news of salvation by grace in Jesus Christ, with everyone!

So tomorrow evening we'll meet at the Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop in Mezzolara's Square for a family time where we'll read God's Word, we'll pray and we'll listen at how Jesus worked in the lives of Davide & Roberta, followinhg the steps of Psalm 145:4!

"I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. " Psalm 145:1-5

Sunday Family Service: The Kingdom of the Lamb (Revelation)

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

Every Sunday in July and August, we interacted with the Good Book Company book Heaven's perspective on Revelation, by Tim Chester.

Tomorrow we'll have a special Family Service where we'll share lessons and applications that the Lord brought to us through the Book of Revelation.

We'll celebrate the Lord's Supper following the hymn of Revelation 5:12-13 "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!"... "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!"

Sunday Service: The reign of the Lamb (Revelation chapters 21-22)

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

Every Sunday in July and August, we'll interact with the Good Book Company book Heaven's perspective on Revelation, by Tim Chester.

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Revelation 21-22 - The reign of the Lamb

The message of the final book of the Bible is both clear and simple. Despite everything that is going wrong with our world, God remains in control. And when we see history, our present, and our future from heaven's perspective, it will encourage us to trust God and remain faithful to the end.

The Apostle John shows us a vision of who Jesus Christ is—the ascended reigning Lord, the Lamb who was slain but who now lives for ever, the one who speaks with a voice like the sound of a waterfall, and the one who holds the people of God safe in his hands.

Gospel Living - Summer in Budrio - Happy Ferragosto

Tomorrow we'll have a traditional Ferragosto evening, which is an Italian Harvest Festival The Feriae Augusti (Augustus' Holidays), introduced by Emperor Augustus in 18 BC, were a public holiday to celebrate the harvest and the end of a period of intense agricultural work.
Nowadays is traditional to have a BBQ with family & friends, as church family we'll celebrate Ferragosto as a Gospel opportunity, rejoicing in the way God makes the Gospel seed to sprout in the hearts of men, knowing that in our Gospel labour, we can rest in the certainty of His Harvest!

"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:10-11
