Resurrection Sunday & Baptismal Service

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

We'll have the joy to celebrate Resurrection Sunday and the Baptism of Jacopo.

During the service Stefano will preach from Romans 6:1-11.
As a church family, we are thankful to the Lord for this day of joy and witness, in obedience to the ordinance of the risen Christ to his church:

"And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - Titus 1:1-4

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing
our series on the Pastoral Epistles. We'll engage with Titus 1:1-4 - Like Father, Like Son - Like Promise, Like Word!
Paul shows us the biblical harmony between God's sovereignty and human responsibility, between the gift of faith, which translates into growing in the knowledge of the truth of the gospel, and living the gospel, the true godliness, the true religion, the true mission, which translates into experiencing the certainty of the hope of eternal life in Christ!
"And you were dead in the trespasses and sins.. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ--by grace you have been saved-- ...For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:1, 4-5, 8-10

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

Billy Goss mission director of The Baptist Preparatory School in Little Rock, Arkansas, US, will preach on: "Grace - The perfect power of weakness" from 2Corinthians 12:7-10.
The Lord said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2Corinthians 12:9-10.

During the service we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper and The Baptit Prep. choir students will conclude with a time of praise and testimonies followed by a family lunch!

Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - 2Timothy 4:9-22

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing our series on the Pastoral Epistles. We'll engage with 2Timothy 4:9-22 - God's Grace is with us!
This is the certain hope that Christ gave to Paul in the prison in Rome, the certainty that Jesus will save him in his heavenly Kingdom, that the Kingdom of Christ is real: it has come and is coming, it is fulfilled and is being fulfilled, that God's missional will is done on earth as it is in heaven, even as Nero's reign is about to end Paul's life, because the church, even in its weakness, by faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit, lives and proclaims the Gospel to all nations!
"Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Matthew 6:9-13

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

Theology for Breakfast

Tomorrow we'll continue
our series of meetings:
Theology for Breakfast!
Following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll meet from 9 to 11am @ Central Café in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissants, we'll engage with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!

Together we'll interact with the module: Union with Christ, starting Unit 1: "What Is Union With Christ".

Union with Christ is the centre of the gospel. It’s been called the central doctrine of salvation. This course will teach you how the profound truth of a Christian's union and identity with Christ drives us to mission and joy in him.
All that Christ has achieved for his people is ours through our union with him. Heart change and mission flow out of who Jesus is, and how we are bound to him by faith. This course will teach you to understand and enjoy your relationship with Jesus in everyday life on mission.

Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - 2Timothy 4:6-8

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing our series on the Pastoral Epistles. We'll engage with 2Timothy 4:6-8 - I have kept the faith!
While many have shipwrecked in the faith, the Lord has judged Paul faithful (1Timothy 1:12 contains this adjective), and He has kept him faithful in finishing the race of the ministry, he has been given to do. Paul is telling Timothy that it is the faithfulness of God that, just as He sustained him and kept him faithful, will sustain Timothy in keeping him faithful in living and preaching the Gospel. It is Jesus who, by his death and resurrection, has secured for his people the crown of righteousness!
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:1-2

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.
