MySpace Club 4 Teens - Spotlight On Poverty 2

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Spotlight On Poverty 2

We'll play lots of fun games like: Tea Towel Tag, Random Choices, Compassion Spotlight on Uganda, Connections, Sharing is Caring, What’s My Persona?, Group Together, In The Spotlight, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Acts 2:41-47

The book of Acts is a story of the first church - the first group of men and women who felt each other’s needs as their own. They were carrying each other’s burdens — at least physically, but much more likely also spiritually, emotionally, and otherwise. The beautiful thread in this theme is that God was gifting some to provide for the needs of others, and vice versa. Needs were being met because God had covered them through others.God deliberately gives you what I need, and he gives us what others need. There’s no corner of our hearts or lives that God meant for us to keep from our living his gospel. Our big God calls us to live together in the everyday, because that’s where he is and that’s often where he works.

Sunday Service: Visiting Preacher - Luigi Palombo

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service and Luigi Palombo, church planter in Milan’s commercial centre, will preach on "Seated means Accomplished" from Hebrews 10:1-18
To stand means that the work is not yet done. But Jesus has accomplished his work of purifying his people. Therefore, he has sat on his throne forever. There is complete forgiveness for those who believe in Jesus. Nothing more remains to be done!
"...when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God" Hebrew 10:12

During the service we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper and we'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

After the service we'll have a Fellowship Lunch and a family time where Luigi will share about the Lord's call to plant an evangelical, gospel-centred church in Milan’s commercial centre for city workers and students. At the moment Luigi is developing relationships with local Milanese Christians and non-Christians and building a core team to help him launch the church plant.

Theology for Breakfas

Tomorrow we'll continue
our series of meetings:
Theology for Breakfast!
Following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll meet from 9 to 11am @ Central Café in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissants, we'll engage with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!

Together we'll engage with the module: Gospel Relationships, concluding Unit 7. Marriage.

Relationships are fundamental to our identity, yet they are fraught with difficulty, fear, conflict and uncertainty. Coming to Christ puts us automatically into relationship with a community of his people. The gospel enables relationships to fulfil their purpose and design. The gospel transforms all our relationships. It resolves conflict, and gives new purpose to friendships, parenting and marriages. Together we'll discover how we can be freed to serve and love others with gospel intentionality.

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Spotlight On Poverty 1!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our

for this school year.

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Spotlight On Poverty 1!

We'll play lots of fun games like: Donut Dash, The Bare Necessities, Compassion Spotlight on Uganda, Head Start, Missing Tools, News Natter, Hungry/Thirsty/Stranger, Take Action, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Matthew 25:31-46. Together we’ll see that Jesus shows us the depth of his love in his identification with his suffering children, but in this he challenges making us look with his eyes at the needs of others. Jesus' emphasis is not on what we do, but who we do it for. Which side of Jesus are we on today? Matthew 25:40Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
