Jenny will lead the time with
the little ones engaging on Acts 23:6.

an argument, but to win people for Christ!
Paul's polemics pointed to the hope we have in Jesus' resurrection!

We'll start our service following the pattern of Acts 1:8 with a time of prayer characterized by thanksgiving and casting a vision for God's work in our community and globally.

We'll pray for "our home".

On the 9th and 10th of June we'll have the Acts29 Italy Assessment Conference.
Two couples will be assessed for their calling and gifting to church-plant in Italy.

On Tuesday (Italy's Republic Day) we'll be @ the special ceremony organized by Budrio's Town Hall to give honorary citizenship to all the kids who completed a school stage.
This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate with our community the Citizenship we have in Christ - Ephesians 2:19

We'll also pray for "the end of the earth".
We'll have with us Jenny's brother and his family from York Evangelical Church.
This church supports us and regularly pray for our church-plant, so it'll be great to pray for them and their reaching out of York!

Tomorrow we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper rejoicing and proclaiming our new identity and unity in Christ!

Giovanni will read and share from 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Mid-week Bible Study - Gospel Change

Tomorrow evening we'll have our home-group mid-week Bible Study in Budrio.
We'll interact together with Unit 5:
The means of grace - the bible, prayer and community of the module Gospel Change
from the Porterbrook course.
The goal of the Christian life is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29).
In this course we will learn how to apply the gospel to our everyday life.

It teaches Christians to connect the truth about God with our 'Monday-morning struggles'.
We will find out how change takes place as God’s truth is applied to the heart, and also how to effectively minster the gospel to those around us.

Porterbrook Campus Bologna - Planning meeting & Pastors' Fraternal

Tomorrow Stefano will meet
with Gianluca & Mark co-pastors
of Nuova Vita Church and Gianpaolo pastor
of Forte Torre Church to pray for the students
of the Percorsi Campus Bologna.

We'll have a feedback meeting for this academic year and we'll plan for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Later we'll attend the Bologna Pastors' Fraternal where we'll have time to share and pray for each others and our for churches. We'll also plan some common outreach events, joined services and a vision to develop a "Metropolitan Church" in Bologna.

We are moving forward with the idea to adopt the
confessional statement and theological vision for ministry of The Gospel Coalition as defining documents for our network of churches in training and working together.

we'll challenge students to prepare a series of Bible studies for a summer camp like Exch@nge that will use a movie
to engage teens coming from non-Christian background.
We'll use as example the old movie Juno, which is full of themes that will challenge the teens world-view.

The second morning seminar will deal firstly with one to one discipleship.
We'll be challenged by God's example in Ezekiel 34:15-16 to see the individual sheep in the flock.

Secondly we'll engage with prayer and how to develop a biblical prayer life

Blessed days @ Budrio

On Saturday we had another great day with The Cage at the High-School in Budrio.
In the afternoon we had the tournament in the square of the theatre we rent for our services, sponsored by the manager of the Café we use for our MySpace Club.
More than 60 local kids and young adults came for the event and listened very carefully when we gave two Gospel talks!

On Sunday morning we had a very encouraging service and our new Dutch friends took part in it.

Harm, the YfC leader, shared that their project to come to Italy to help, started when as a team they realised how it's true that
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'

We also experienced this joy in making a special collection for the Nepali church and population after the earthquake.
Later we had a fellowship lunch at the park.

In the afternoon we had the last tournament at a local park in Budrio. It was great to see kids already waiting for us.

Nino from our church gave a talk to challenge kids about what really matters in life and how in Jesus we can be fully ourselves and in relation with God.
Stefano asked to a kid from Muslim background, who came to our camp and every afternoon to the Cage, to say what
we do differently at the Exch@nge Camp,
and he answered: "We read the Gospel"!

In these days we were able to engage with more than 350 local kids, and as a church-plant we experienced in a small measure the incredible blessings of being part of Jesus' beloved bride.
Pray with us that the Lord will use every single Gospel word that those kids, their teachers, those parents and young adults who came, to call them to salvation!

Video about these days in Budrio!
