IDOP 2017 - International Days of Prayers for the Persecuted Church

Tomorrow we'll have a joint service for the IDOP 2017 - International Days of Prayers for the Persecuted Church, alongside the 4 local churches we are partnering with in the Bologna area.
This global event is promoted by the World Evangelical Alliance and Open Doors.

In the morning we'll meet
at Nuova Vita Church where,
Cristiano De Chirico from
Open Doors Italy, will preach
God's Word challenging us to partner in prayers, intercessions and action with our sisters and brothers from the persecuted church worldwide.

In the afternoon, our church will host in Budrio
the prayer meeting where Cristiano will update us
about the present situation of the Persecuted church.

On a daily basis Christians around the world face persecution in various forms, including discrimination, physical assaults, violence and even death. Persecution is the daily reality of at least 100 million Christians around the world. We believe that God uses the prayers of his people to strengthen and deliver suffering saints. However, that’s not all. Even though persecution and suffering may be the present reality for some believers, the Scriptures promise that their  journey, ultimately would be from ashes to glory. As such, we are convinced that though sorrow is the present reality of those suffering for Christ, triumph is their ultimate reward.
