Christmas Party @ HUB for underage asylum seekers

Tomorrow afternoon we'll be with the kids and staff from the HUB for underage asylum seekers in Budrio.

Indeed, this year the HUB manager asked our church to offer a Christmas Party
for them in partnership with
Youth for Christ Italy!

In a village next to Budrio, last year it was opened the second biggest centre of the Bologna area, to host under-age migrants landed in Italy.

At the moment they host about 30 kids, mostly Muslim, from various African and Asian countries.

In partnership with the YfC Italy
programme Lighthouse,
created to reach out migrants
who lands in Italy, we're offering
on a weekly basis a Basketball Clinic
with Coach Chris Bilyeu.

Tomorrow with a team of 10 Christians from our church and the Bologna YfC Staff, we'll have a fun time with the kids cooking with them some pizza, chocolate chips cookies and ginger bread biscuits, to offer to the Budrio community invited at the party. We'll play together some games, some Scottish dances and Christmas crafts.

Then Santa will arrive and he'll explain that Jesus is the Reason for the Christmas Season and Stefano will give a Talk from Luke 2:10-11
