Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - 1Timothy 5:3-16

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

 

 

 

 

 

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with our series on the Pastoral Epistles. With Matteo we'll engage with 1 Timothy 5:3-16 - Pastoral Care: Honor widows! 

Paul began and ended with the principle of Gospel honour which translates into Gospel dignity! Our worth in the gospel depends on our redemptive relationship in Christ, so in the church family everyone must have the opportunity to receive according to their needs and to give according to their ability, that is, both to be served and to serve, to be honoured in the Lord and to live out their dignity in the Lord!
"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord." Romans 12:10-11

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

 

As church family we're joining the collection promoted by the Italian Evangelical Alliance to help churches who are in the areas most affected.
