Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.
We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school
programme.
In this way, we've been given a room in
Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids
they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.
Together we'll engage with the
YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme:
Halloween: Nyctophobia or Photophobia?
We'll play lots of fun games
like: Nyctophobia or Photophobia?, The Web, I Ate Your Candy, Good Apple/Bad
Apple, Trick or Treat?, The History of Halloween, Twisted Halloween, Happy
Halloween?, The Light shines in the darkness, Freestylers in Disguise, Sky full
of Stars, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from John 1:5-12, 3:16-20, 8:12. Halloween shows us how often people
love the darkness rather than the light, yet the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness cannot overcome it, and then Jesus came into our darkness saying
to us today: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not
walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
