MySpace Club 4 Teens - What Did You Say? 1: Complaining!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. 

As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

 

 

 

 

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: What Did You Say? 1: Complaining!

We'll play lots of fun games like: Birthday Line-up, Stay Afloat, What’s the worst?, Sit down and complain, How a forest is set ablaze, Salty Sip, Thank-Full, Thankful Thoughts, Are you Thankful?, Cheerful Challenge, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Philippians 4:4-8. Sometimes we focus on things that go wrong, that worry us, that make us feel anxious, and so we start complaining that everything is bad! Instead, Paul tells us that it's possible to not be anxious about anything, when we put everything into God's hands - that is one of the aspects of prayer! In this way we stop focusing on the negative, and we begin to see how many positive aspects there are in our lives, for which we can be thankful to God. Because God wants to guard our hearts and our minds in Jesus!
