Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.
We
are glad for the Lord's provision of the Auditorium, a former church building reconverted to be a cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.
With Stefano we'll engage with Matthew 26:47-68 - The Passion: What if it's all True?
Jesus publicly affirmed his divine and messianic identity, if these claims were false, then they were rightly blasphemies deserving of death, but what if they were all true?
"A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would
not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on the level with
the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You
must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a
madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him
and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God,
but let us not come with any patronising nonsense about his being a great human
teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."
C.S.
Lewis, Mere Christianity
We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.
