Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio.






We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with a
prayer time focused on our mission to
our community yet with a global vision.
We'll pray for the food bank planning meeting we had yesterday and for the Mayor and the local authorities who will come to our fellowship lunch!

We'll continue our new series on:
The Gospel of John 14-17.

We'll have as visiting preacher Michael Steedman from San Lazzaro church.
Michael will preach from John 15:12:27 engaging
with Jesus' command to
love one another!

Maria will lead the time
with the little ones!

After the service we'll have a fellowship lunch at the Theatre' Café. The Mayor of Budrio and other local authorities will join us as first official visit since we became a recognised local association.

After lunch the Mayor will present us some of the activities the Town Hall is going to introduce in our Community!

Budrio Food Bank Collection Planning Meeting

Tomorrow morning we'll be at the planning meeting for the third food-bank collection organised by the town-hall in partnership with all the local associations who desire to serve those in need.

This is part of the UN World Day of Social Justice to promote an
active awareness for global development and
human dignity.

Our desire is to support our community in serving and caring for the needy in being led by a clear Gospel intentionality.

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Bullying

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.

We organize this club for local kids,
where we also help them with their English home-works, in partnership with the Town Hall as part of their after-school programme.

We have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some kids with special needs or difficult backgrounds they follow.

Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material,
interacting with the theme of Bullying!

We'll play lots of fun games such as:
I saw you! 

Laugh Out Loud! 

Correct or Incorrect! Human Knot & 

Don't Kick the Bucket! which will serve as illustrations to the Talk given by Stefano from Luke 23:33-43.

Mid-week meeting - Being Church

Tomorrow evening we'll continue our mid-week series of studies on Church Membership & Confession of Faith.

Stefano will lead this meeting in which we'll interact with the catechistic & missional goal of
a confession of faith.
In the next months we'll
engage with every statement of The Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement.


This week we'll engage with the second & third statements:  
Revelation + Creation of Humanity

We'll engage with the biblical concept of church membership and the importance of being the local body of Christ witnessing His Gospel in Budrio, while experiencing a biblical interdependency with the other local churches who share this Confessional Statements and the global body of Christ!

Sunday Service @ Chiesa Evangelica di San Lazzaro

Tomorrow morning Stefano
will be with our friends from the
Chiesa Evangelica di San Lazzaro 
in which we served for a few years and 
now they support us in our church-plant.

 

 

Stefano will preach at their evangelistic service from Nehemiah chapters 1 & 2. We'll be challenged to see 

how God is equipping the whole church for what is needed 

for His mission in His world!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Living in a Global Village

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
that we offer during the school-year.



We organize this club for local kids,
where we also help them with their English home-works, in partnership with the Town Hall as part of their after-school programme.

Mid-week Meeting & Family Time

Tomorrow evening @ our home we'll have our Mid-week meeting & Family Time by the fireplace with roasted marshmallows!


We've invited a few friends and the idea is to have an informal group discussion on an interesting topic.

Together we'll interact with the video:
The Miniature Earth,
which will challenge us to think about who we are in relation to the whole human family.
How does the Gospel respond to these questions?

Budrio local associations council meeting

This evening Stefano and Giovanni (our newly appointed church treasurer) will participate to the biannual Budrio local associations council meeting.

This is the first time we're invited to this meeting as newly recognised social association in Budrio.
We're really glad to the Lord for how He made everything to cooperate to this result. Indeed in these days it is proving more and more difficult for churches to receive this status.
We've been told in our case, the endorsement of the Mayer and the head of the social workers has proved vital.
Thank you Lord for your providence!
