Sunday Service: The Lord's Prayer: Give us this day our daily bread!

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio.






We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.


At 10.30 we'll start our service with a
prayer time focused on our mission to
our community yet with a global vision.

We'll have a time to share praise&prayer points and subjects to be thankful for!



We'll continue our series on:
The Lord's Prayer:
Give us this day our daily bread!

Stefano will preach from Matthew 6:11 engaging the church to understand Jesus' holistic & missional teaching in asking our Father to give us this day our daily bread!

Jenny will lead the time with the little ones!

During the sermon, as practical application of what we've learned in The Lord's Prayer,
Justin will lead the Lord's Supper,
explaining 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Better Together!



Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.


We organize this club for local kids,
where we also help them with their English home-works, in partnership with the Town Hall as part of their after-school programme.

We have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some kids with special needs or difficult backgrounds they follow.

Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Better Together!
 


We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: 
Yelling Vikings, Taped Up, Texan Cowboy + Cross the Swamp + Howdy Buddy, My Life, Better Together!, 
Weighed down, Circle Shoot which will serve as illustrations
to the Talk given by Stefano from Matthew 11:28-30.

Mid-week meeting - Being Church


Tomorrow evening we'll continue our mid-week series of studies on Church Membership & Confession of Faith.

Together we're interacting with every statement of The Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement engaging with God's Word and applying it to our everyday life!



Jonathan will lead this meeting in which we'll engage with the ninth statement:  The Power of the Holy Spirit.

We'll engage with the biblical concept of church membership and the importance of being the local body of Christ witnessing His Gospel in Budrio, while experiencing a biblical interdependency with the other local churches who share this Confessional Statements, and the global body of Christ!

Sunday Service @ San Lazzaro Church


Tomorrow morning we'll join our friends from Chiesa Evangelica di San Lazzaro
for their Sunday service.
It will be very nice to fellowship with them on The Lord's Day and to share about
the work in Budrio to this faithful
supporting church!



Stefano will preach from John 17:20-26 engaging the church with our Lord's High Priestly Prayer for us today!

Together we'll learn from Jesus how  to pray for His Church!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Ambitions & Obligations



Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.



We organize this club for local kids,

We have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some kids with special needs or difficult backgrounds they follow.


Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Ambitions & Obligations.

We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: 
Game of Life, 
Hold me back, Bro!, The Apprentice 1: Picking Teams, The Apprentice 2: The Bag Game, The Apprentice 3: Hired or Fired? & What's really Important? which will serve as illustrations to the Talk given by Justin from Philippians 2:3-8.

Mid-week meeting & Family Time


This evening we'll have our monthly special mid-week meeting with a Family Time! 

The idea is to have an informal & relaxed evening to which invite our local friends and to have an interesting topic to interact with.

This time we'll enjoy a meal together with a pizza in a traditional Spaghetteria & Pizzeria in Budrio mediaeval centre!

We've invited quite a few friends & contacts, so pray that we'll be able to spend a relaxed evening together and that many Gospel conversation will happen at the table!
We'll also have a farewell time for our dear Giuseppe, a YfC intern who spent the last 5 months serving with us in Budrio and has been a great encouragement for us!
In the summer Giuseppe is going for a year of theological training in New Zealand, while searching the Lord's will for the next step in his ministry!

Rugby Clinics outreach @ Budrio High School

This morning we held the final day of our 4 days Rugby Clinics outreach in Budrio Schools.

Colin White, a Scottish Christian former Rugby Player who is now an intern with Acts29 Italy, has taught to about 300 local kids Free Tag Rugby, a sport practically unknown in Italy.
Most importantly, Colin had the incredible opportunity to share the greatness of Jesus' love!

On Saturday and today we had
a great time with kids from the Vocational School and the High-School of Budrio.
We offered our programme to two classes whom Jenny teaches English, so it was really good to establish deeper relationships with kids and their teachers!

Join us in praying that the living testimony of our Lord's Love & Power given by Colin in these days of seeding, will bring an harvest of eternal fruits in these kids!

At 10.30 we'll start our service with a

We'll rejoice for the many opportunities to witness the Lord's love to Budrio kids in these days of Rugby outreach with Colin! We'll keep intercede for these kids and
their Middle and High School teachers!

Justin will preach from Matthew 6:10 engaging the church to think about whose kingdom are we building? Ours or God’s!

Rugby Clinics outreach @ Budrio Vocational School

We're still immerse in our 4 days outreach in Budrio Schools.

Tomorrow we'll be with 3 classes at the Vocational High-School in Budrio from 8.15am to 1.15pm.

Colin White, Scottish former Rugby Player who is now an intern with Acts29 Italy, will teach them Free Tag Rugby,
a sport practically unknown
in Italian schools.


We had a great time with the Middles School kids and really good conversations with some teachers with whom we're establishing a good relationship!

Join us in praying for tomorrow, that the Lord of the fields will greatly use Colin, while he'll engage with kids in teaching and playing Rugby, but especially when he'll be able to share his testimony to about 70 kids.

Giuseppe from John 20:24-29.

Mid-week meeting - Being Church


Tomorrow evening we'll continue our mid-week series of studies on Church Membership & Confession of Faith.

We'll engage with the biblical concept of church membership and the importance of being the local body of Christ witnessing His Gospel in Budrio, while experiencing a biblical interdependency with the other local churches who share this Confessional Statements, and the global body of Christ!

Rugby Clinics outreach in Budrio schools - 12-14,17/05/2016

Tomorrow we'll start a 4 days outreach in Budrio Middle and High Schools.

This year we'll offer students
the great opportunity to
practice Free Tag Rugby,
a sport practically unknown
in Italian schools.

This will also be a great opportunity to promote our English Sport Camp Exch@nge!
We'll have as main coach the Scottish former Rugby Player Colin White.
Colin, who lists his career highlights as beating England Under-21s
and playing for Scotland Sevens when they defeated South Africa at Murrayfield, spent time at the academies of both Glasgow Warriors
and Edinburgh.

Colin became a Christian in the US
and now is an intern
with Acts29 Italy.

Tomorrow and Friday morning we'll be from 9 am to 2pm at the Middle school in Budrio.
Colin will be able to share his testimony to about 200 local kids.
Join us in praying for this great opportunity and that the Lord will greatly use Colin!

We organize this club for local kids,
where we also help them with their English home-works, in partnership with the Town Hall as part of their after-school programme.

We have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some kids with special needs or difficult backgrounds they follow.


Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Follow your leader!

We'll play lots of fun & interactive games based on the movie Captain America: 
Civil war such as: Stars And Shields
Time To Suit Up, Who Would You Back?, Spiderman/Ironman/Captain America, How To Avoid A Civil War and The Captain America Shield Game which will serve
as illustrations to the Talk given by
Justin from Matthew 7:28-29 and
Mark 11:27-33!
