AppMatthew - Mid-Week Bible Study

Tomorrow evening we'll have our AppMatthew (Applying Matthew's Gospel), our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting with what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday services. 

We'll meet at the Bookshop-Café La Terza Stanza, in Budrio. Stefano will lead this time where, as church-family we'll engage with Matthew 26:1-30.

Seminar on Gospel Centred Evangelism

Tomorrow afternoon, Stefano will speak at a seminar on Evangelism at the Evangelical Church Shalom in Reggio Emilia.

For this course we'll engage with the material from the Crosslands module on Evangelism, working out on how to apply it to our culture and communities!

With Stefano we'll engage with Matthew 26:17-30 - The Passion: At Jesus' Table!

The words of Jesus with whom we share, celebrate and preach the Lord's Supper, focus on the death of the King for his people, but the legacy of this New Testament sacrament points our eyes, beyond Calvary and beyond the cross - just as there was a last Passover, there will be a last Lord's Supper: "I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom" Matthew 26:29

 

 
 

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

MySpace Club 4 Teens - National Kindness Days!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have a special

Exchange Camp Reunion for the

National Kindness Days, with a taster of
our My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. 

As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

 

 

 

 

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: God's loving-kindness!

 

We'll play lots of fun games like: Alphabet of Kindness, Hit The Bottle, Positive Post-It Day, Dodgeball Pegs, Basketball Awareness Test, Two Stories, Kind Words Bowling, Compliment Balloons, God's Loving-Kindness, Yes/No/I don't know, Pass on the Thank You!, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Nehemiah 9:16-17, where we'll ask ourselves: If kindness is so popular, why is our culture so harsh? In a world that’s hungry for kindness, we must look to the author of kindness to teach us what kindness truly is. As Nehemiah tells us, our loving-kind God doesn’t merely tolerate us or endure us with distaste. He loves us with a fierce loving-kindness. God the Father sent Jesus Christ to extend to us the ultimate kindness: our salvation. In Christ, we’re also set apart to be transformed into his likeness through the Spirit who produces the godly fruit of kindness in our lives!

The life of Christ is inestimable, and He gives inestimable value to our lives by having given His life for us!
The only response to such love is therefore to give Him our whole life, which He purchased at the cross, this is the motivation for our sanctification, for our living the Gospel, living His love in the world, for, as Paul says: "Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed" 1 Corinthians 5:7

With Stefano we'll engage with Matthew 25:31-46 - What is the separating factor?

Jesus' emphasis is not on what we do, but on who we do it for. Because he is the good shepherd who gathers his sheep, and gives his life for them, but he will be the shepherd who will come to separate his sheep from the goats who do not belong to him! What divides all of humanity into 2 groups is our personal relationship with Jesus: which side of Christ are we on today?

Preaching at Peak Trinity Church - Bakewell UK

 

Tomorrow morning Stefano & Jenny will share about the Lord's work in Budrio at Peak Trinity Church, in Bakewell UK, then Stefano will preach on - Struggling in prayer to please God - from Romans 15:13-33.

We're really thankful to the Lord for how this lovely and committed rural church in the Peak District, welcomed us in our time of sabbatical, warmingly involving us in their home groups and church family life!

Sunday Service: Visiting Preacher - Giuseppe Papantonio

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We'll have with us Giuseppe & Sun-min, who will share the ways in which the Lord is guiding them to serve Him in Germany working with WEC with refugees.

At 10.30 Giuseppe will preach on "A new identity in Christ" from Matthew 22:10-14. 

 

During the service, we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper, proclaiming the victory of our Redeemer over sin and death!

Deputation 2022 - Sunday Evening Service @ BroadGrace Church, Coltishall

 

Tomorrow evening we're very excited to join the Sunday Service at BroadGrace Church in Coltishall, pastored by John Hindley.

Stefano will speak about the Lord's work in rural North Italy and about our church plant in Budrio.

We met John and Flick Hindley in the Acts 29 Rural network, really appreciating their ministry and teaching for the European Rural context.

Deputation 2022 - Missionary Prayer Meeting @ Christ Church, Loughborough

Tomorrow evening we'll join our friends from Christ Church in Loughborough, for their home group Missionary Prayer Meeting.

We'll share with them some of the Gospel lessons we learnt as a couple and as a church, when in these last years our world turned upside down, and how the Lord turned them in Gospel opportunities for our church plant in Budrio.

It will be great to renew our fellowship with this church, where Raffaela will be hosted for 7 weeks for her language and growth experience in the UK.

Deputation 2022 - Missionary Prayer Meeting @ Mount Road Baptist Church, Hinckley

Tomorrow evening we'll be back with our friends from Mount Road Baptist Church in Hinckley, for their Missionary Prayer Meeting.

Stefano will introduce the meeting with a reading from Psalm 46, then with Jenny and Raffaela, a girl from our church is coming with us in this visit to the UK, we'll share about the Lord's faithfulness in our church plant in Budrio, in rural North Italy!

Tomorrow evening we'll join our friends from Freeschool Court Church in Bridgend, Wales, for their Missionary Prayer Meeting.

We'll share with them some of the Gospel lessons we learnt as a couple and as a church, when in these last years our world turned upside down, and how the Lord turned them in Gospel opportunities for our church plant in Budrio.

It will be great to renew our fellowship with this dear church we attended when we were at the Union School of Theology!

Tomorrow we'll join our friends from the English Baptist Mission in Ystrad Mynach, Wales, for their Missionary Prayer Meeting.

Stefano, Jenny and Raffaela, will share about the Lord's Work in Italy and in our church plant in Budrio.

Tomorrow we'll join our friends from Mount Road Baptist Church in Hinckley, where Jenny grew up and our UK sending church who partnered with us from the beginning of our ministry in Italy.

Stefano will preach from Matthew 11:16-30 - To what shall we compare this generation?

It will be a privilege to share God's Word with these dear friends and Gospel partners!

Deputation 2022 - Missionary Prayer Meeting & Sunday Morning Service @ York Evangelical Church

 

This weekend we'll be with our friends from York Evangelical Church.

This evening we'll join their home group missionary prayer meeting to share about the Lord's work in Italy and in our church plant in Budrio.

On Sunday Stefano will speak at their Sunday Morning Service!

Tomorrow we'll be with our friends from Welwyn Evangelical Church for their Missionary Prayer Meeting.

We'll share about the Lord's Work in Budrio and Raffaela, a girl from our church who's coming with us in this visit to the UK, will share her testimony on how the Lord called her while attending our after school club!

Deputation 2022 - Sunday Afternoon Service @ Pakenham Christian Fellowship

 

Tomorrow afternoon we'll be with our friends from Pakenham Christian Fellowship for their Afternoon Service.

Stefano will lead communion from Psalm 46, then we’ll share about the Lord’s work in Budrio!

It will be great to stay with these dear friends where Jenny lodged while she was doing her teacher training before coming to Bible College!

Deputation 2022 - Sunday Morning Service @ Westgate Chapel - Bury St. Edmunds

 

Tomorrow we'll join our friends from Westgate Chapel in Bury St. Edmunds, for their all-age communion service.

During the service we'll share about the Lord's Work in Budrio and after we'll join their church family for a picnic at the local park.

It will be great to renew our fellowship with this church where we've met for the very first time!
