Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.
We
are glad for the Lord's provision of the conference hall at the local
middle school, a strategic and well known location in our community.
At 10.30 we'll start our service and Sergio D'Ascenzo, pastor of the Evangelical Church in Isola del Gran Sasso will preach on "God isn't as we imagine, nor is Jesus... Lessons from Isaiah 53". Together we'll see the beauty of Christ: "...he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:5-6
We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.
During the service, Stefano will lead the Lord's Supper from Isaiah 53:10-11 proclaiming the victory of our Redeemer over sin and death!In the afternoon Sergio and Silvana will share about the work of the Lord in the church in Isola del Gran Sasso and their humanitarian work in Romania and Moldova.
