MySpace Club 4 Teens - Transformed: The Blind Man At Bethsaida!

 

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our
My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school year.

We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way, we've been given a room in Budrio's Library and social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. 

As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.

 

 

 

 

Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Transformed: The Blind Man At Bethsaida!

We'll play lots of fun games like: The Strangest Story, The Blind Man at Bethsaida, Eyes who do not See, Tree Tag, Broken Record, What Is Healing?, Leaf It To God, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from Mark 8:17-29. 

Jesus heals this blind man with a very strange miracle in two parts. Why he did it in this way? The fact is that the true blind was not the man, but the disciples! They were the ones to whom Jesus said: “Having eyes do you not see?” (Mark 8:18) They were the ones who saw everything blurred and needed Jesus to open their eyes to see him, as Peter then proclaimed: “You are the Christ.” We need too Jesus to open our eyes to see him, his love and our need of his redemption!
