Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - 1Timothy 4:6-10

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

 

 

 

 

 

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with our series on the Pastoral Epistles. With Stefano we'll engage with 1Timothy 4:16-10 - Nourished by the Gospel and trained in the Gospel! 

Just as the metaphor of nourishment, renders the idea of a continuous and constant process, so the metaphor of training, renders the idea of a challenging, persistent and regular activity! Paul thus calls all the members of the church family that Christ has redeemed, to be nourished by the gospel and to train in the gospel, both individually and reciprocally, to grow and develop in Christ, in the fulfilment of his mission! "...Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:15-16

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

 

We'll have a specific time of prayer for all those affected by the flooding in our Region.

As church family we'll join the collection promoted by the Italian Evangelical Alliance to help churches who are in the areas most affected.
