We
are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.
At 10.30 we'll start our service celebrating the Reformation Sunday. With Nino we'll engage with Ephesians 2:1-9 - The 5 Solas of Reformation!
On 31 October 1517, Luther nailed the 95 Theses in Wittenberg. This is considered the moment when the Reformation took on a public and popular profile. Reformation Sunday is then an occasion to recall the rediscovery of the Gospel, centred on the recognition of the authority of Scripture, the centrality of Jesus Christ, the gratuitousness of salvation, and the requirement that all life be lived for the glory of God.We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.
"Things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments" Psalm 78:3-7
