Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - 2Timothy 1:6-12

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

 

 

 

 

 

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with our series on the Pastoral Epistles. With Stefano we'll engage with 2 Timothy 1:1-5- Fan into flame the gift of God, because you know whom you have believed! 

Nowhere does Paul tell us that our faith grows in proportion to our efforts, but he does tell us that the reason he is not ashamed of Christ or the Gospel of Christ, is because he knows in whom he has believed, so his, and our faith, grows in proportion to our knowledge of Christ! "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."." Romans 1:16-17

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.
