Sunday Service: Pastoral Epistles - Titus 2:1-8

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.

We are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.

At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing
our series on the Pastoral Epistles. We'll engage with Titus 2:1-8 - Women who are an example in imitating Christ!
The picture that Paul paints for us is that of a church that is united, where men and women, old and young, live their mission together, where each older woman doesn't miss an opportunity to be with a young woman, to listen and study God's Word together, to serve together, to grow together, and each younger woman doesn't miss an opportunity to follow the example of a mature woman, to see the grace of Christ in action in her life in the family, in the church and in the community!

"We were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us. For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. For you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory. And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers." 1Thessalonians 2:7-13

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.
