Stefano will preach on Matthew 5:1-16,
focusing on the meaning of being Salt & Light!
Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

1 Is life an oblivious circle?
2 Is my life a futile search for satisfaction?
3 What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?

My Space - Sharing the Gospel with teens
Yesterday we had a really good meeting with the teens!
Practically all of them have Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist class-mates!
At the question:
have you ever heard the idea that God is like a mountain and that there are many ways (i.e. religions) to arrive to the top?
They all replied yes
and some said they agreed,
but at the end of day they all understood that there is only one way to God: Christ Jesus!
Jesus said:
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also." John 14-6-7 (ESV)

My Space - Sharing the Gospel with teens
On Sunday afternoon Stefano, Jenny, Danielle & Valentina will run the My Space program.
This week the Rock Solid Bible Study theme will be:
"Other Teams in the League"
and we'll study Ecclesiastes 3:10-11 and John 14:5-9.
The goal is to help our young people who are living in
an increasingly multi-cultural and multi-faith society,
to understand that Jesus is the only way to God and,
at the same time, to learn at how to respond in a wise,
godly way to followers of other faiths in order to respect
while evangelising them.

Bible Study on Ecclesiastes - Ecclesiastes 1:1-11
Please pray for tomorrow evening when Stefano will continue the series of Bible Studies on Ecclesiastes.
What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?
Ecclesiastes 1:3 (ESV)
To illustrate the meaninglessness of a life's search for satisfaction apart from Christ, we will look
at the figure of Sisyphus.
In Greek mythology Sisyphus was a king punished by being compelled to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only to watch it roll back down, and to repeat this action forever.
The word "sisyphean" means "endless and unavailing, as labour or a task".
