Summer series: A meal with Jesus - Enacted Community: Luke 7

Tomorrow we'll continue our summer series where as church family we'll interact with Tim Chester's book A meal with Jesus.

With Stefano we'll engage with chapter 2:
Meals as Enacted Community: Luke 7

Meals have always been important across societies and cultures. Meals are also deeply theological - an important part of Christian fellowship and mission.

Luke's Gospel is full of stories of Jesus at meals. And these meals enact grace, community, hope, mission, salvation and promise.

Prayer & Envisioning Meeting

Tomorrow evening we'll have our mid-week prayer & envisioning meeting.

Our desire is to build up our church to have a passion for our community with a global vision for the work of the Lord!

This morning we had a very good meeting with the new Mayor and Vice-Mayor of Budrio.

We donated them and to each Councilor a New Testament with this dedication:
We pray for you and your role as church (1Timothy 2:1-6) recognizing that there is
no authority except from God, and those
that exist have been instituted by God
(Romans 13:1-7)
So tomorrow we'll pray for each Councillor of our town and their responsibility!

We'll also pray for the missionary trip of YfC Italy to Bulgaria where a team of 8 teenagers and young adults will serve in amongst the local ROM community and local churches.

Christianity Explored @ Le Torri Lounge

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our monthly
Christianity Explored Course,
for every age-group!

Christianity Explored is a great way to give people space and time to think about the big questions of life.

We run these public meetings hosted by the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church!

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Acts 4:23-31
Prayer!

Over 10 sessions in Mark's Gospel, we'll find out about the life and the teachings of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.

Summer series: A meal with Jesus - Enacted Grace: Luke 5

Exch@nge Camp - DAY7 - Sunday Service

This morning we had our Sunday Service for the campers' families of the 2017 English Sport Camp Exch@nge Budrio.

More than 70 people came between kids and parents, and it was great to see some of the older campers from previous years!

Stefano preached from Luke 7:36-50, challenging parents & kids to think that the one who understand the depths from which Jesus saved him, is the one who really loves Jesus!

We had the visit of the new mayor of Budrio who thanked us for our work & presence in the community. We also had a great time engaging with families and kids. Many of them very happy to receive a New Testament and to be informed about our Christianity Explored and kids programmes!

Exch@nge Camp - DAY6 - Service Project + BBQ

This morning we engaged Italian & American kids in our Service Project in partnership with Budrio Town Hall.

This year we decorated the front wall & entrance hall
of Budrio kindergarten

This evening we'll have our Texan BBQ for the campers families @ Le Torri Lounge,
the café where we run both Uncover and Christianity Explored.

It's always a great opportunity to interact with families and friends!
