#exchangebudrio23 Camp - DAY5 - Open the New House

5th day at the 2023 English Sport Camp Exchange Budrio.

 

Roberto staff of YfC Sicily, led the 5th Talk from the Gospel of Matthew 25:14-30. In the Madrigal family everyone has a 'talent' that they use for the good of the village, except for Mirabel, who has no talent... until she discovers that she has the gift of holding the family together with her love! In God's family, on the other hand, Jesus is so generous that he distributes and entrusts talents to everyone and shares the joy of his kingdom with all his children.

 

 

 

Today we had fun playing Pickle Ball and Texan Line Dancing.

 

 

Each day one of the US team members shares a testimony related to the Talk theme.

 

 

Since our first Exchange Camp in Budrio, Bethel Church of Houston, Texas, has faithfully partnered with us, sending a team year after year to make our camp possible. We are thankful to the Lord for this great Gospel partnership!

#exchangebudrio23 Camp DAY4 - We Don't Talk About Bruno… You're Gone

 

4th day at the 2023 English Sport Camp Exchange Budrio.

 

Kristin, staff of YfC in Sicily, led the 4th Talk from the Gospel of Matthew 21:33-46. In the Madrigal family no one talks about Bruno, but he sacrificed himself for the truth that they try at all costs to deny! In the same way, the Son of God came to proclaim the truth of the Kingdom, died and rose again to establish the Kingdom of God.

Today we had fun playing Baseball and Basketball!

 

Every afternoon Jenny teaches English in an interactive way and kids have the opportunity to engage with the mother tongue American staff.

Kristin and Roberto, from the YfC Sicily staff, are with us this year as assistant directors, as next year they wish to organise an Exchange Camp in Sicily! Please join us in praying for the ministry of YfC Italy in equipping churches to reach out to local teenagers. This year, including our camp in Budrio, there will be 4 Exchange camps in: Montespertoli, Vasto and San Lazzaro! Let us pray for these Gospel seeds sown this summer!

#exchangebudrio23 Camp - DAY3 - A Pressure That Never Stops

 

3rd day at the 2023 English Sport Camp Exchange Budrio.

 

Thomas from La Rocca Church in Imola, led the 3rd Talk from the Gospel of Matthew 11:25-30. Luisa can no longer cope with the stress her role in the family and the village subjects her to! We too can sometimes feel this way, but the good news is that Jesus helps us to recognise that in life there are burdens to bear, but also that he has come to give rest to the weary and burdened!

 

Today we had fun playing Ultimate Frisbee and in the afternoon in the Budrio swimming pool!

We’re also inviting kids to our MySpace and Seekers Clubs we run during the school term. Join us in praying that kids and their families will see Jesus’ love for them through these acts of service and through every Gospel Talk!
