Reformation Past & Present - Connect Gospel Churches Together @ Forlì

On Monday we'll spend the whole Bank Holiday day in Forlì where the local church, has organised a Get Together Day for nearby churches!

4 local churches will come for this day of fellowship and envisioning for a Gospel partnership.

Stan Goertzen, pastor of Forlì church, will give a talk on:
Reformation Past & Present.
Stan will explain the story of Fanino Fanini,
an Italian evangelical martyr during the Reformation time,
who was ready to give up his life for the sake of the Lord and of
true Gospel proclamation!
Then we'll have a time to share stories from our churches
and how we still live the values of Reformation today!

Pray for this day and that more Gospel Partnerships

Understanding culture is a complex task.
Christians have to find points of connection and difference with their cultural context to present the gospel clearly. This course helps with that task but goes further to show us how to do that creatively. This course will stretch you to think biblically and creatively about popular culture. It provides you with a theological tool kit to engage with film, music and computer games.

Living out our faith in the community

Yesterday evening we were invited,
alongside many associations in Budrio,
to a meeting in the Town Hall about a new project to redevelop a 1923 storehouse.
The project, that will start in the next year,
is to give back to the community this historical building, redesigned to serve as a cultural and meeting place for families and young people.
It was great to be part of this decision making process as part our town!
This evening we'll have the Bologna Pastors' Fraternal hosted by San Lazzaro Church.
We'll have time to share and pray for each others and our for churches.
We'll also plan some common outreach events and joined services working to develop
a vision for a shared approach towards training, outreach and church-planting.

Tomorrow afternoon we'll be firstly at the Town Hall meeting to coordinate all the summer camps in Budrio, presenting our English Sport Camp Exch@nge.

Then we'll be at meeting to organize the next Food Bank Collection for the needy in Budrio on Saturday the 6th of May!
