End of Year Family Time and New Year Service

Tomorrow evening we'll have an End of Year Family Time @ Justin & Carli's home.
As church-family we'll have a bring&share evening meal and then we'll join Budrio's community for the traditional Midnight 
Cheers & Bonfire to celebrate the 2017!

On Sunday afternoon we'll have a New Year Service @ Stefano & Jenny's home.
We'll celebrate the Lord's Supper and
His steadfast love expressed in His missional call for His church in His world! 
For I know the plans I have for you, declares 
the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, 
to give you a future and a hope.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year


Christmas Family Service

Tomorrow we'll have a special
Christmas Family Service
to worship God together as a church-family and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.






We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.

At 10.30 we'll start our service with some traditional Christmas Carols and Justin 
will lead us in engaging with Isaiah 9:5-6, Micah 5:1, Luke 2:1-20 in order to glorify God for the incredible gift of the Incarnation of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ!
We'll also have some activities for children that we'll realize together!

Mid-week meeting - Being Church

Tomorrow evening we'll continue our mid-week series of studies on Confession of Faith & Church Membership.
During this year we've interacted with every statement of
The Gospel Coalition Confessional Statement!

Tomorrow we'll conclude with Stefano the series about church membership engaging with: Living out our being church! 

We'll engage with the practice of: Caring, Discipling and Participating!

Christianity Explored - Mark 2:1-12

Tomorrow afternoon
we'll have our monthly
Christianity Explored Course,
for every age-group!

Christianity Explored is a great way to give people space and time to think about the big questions of life.


Over 10 sessions in Mark's Gospel, we'll find out more about the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ.

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Mark 2:1-12 The Son of Man has authority to forgive sins!

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio.






We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.


At 10.30 we'll start our service continuing our series on the book of Genesis.
With Justin we'll engage with Chapter 9 -
God's Covenantal Love! 
We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ
who is the mediator of the New Covenant and of the Spirit who is the seal of the
New Covenant!








Nino & Jenny will lead our children's programme based on
The Gospel Project, in which week by week kids will engage with the same passages from Genesis and families will have activities to keep engaging with God's Word during the week!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Christmas Unwrapped Party



Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.
We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.
In this way we have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.









Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material,
interacting with the theme: Christmas Unwrapped Party!

We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: The Christmas Bauble Race, Wrap it up, The Nicest Things, A Social Network Christmas, Finding Jesus in the Christmas mess, What do you know? & Share the Joy which will serve as illustrations to the Talk given by Justin from Luke 2:1-20!

Then we'll have a special guest from afar...

App Genesis - Mid-Week Bible Study

(Applying Genesis), our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting & applying what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday Morning services.

Justin will lead this time where the church will be free to ask questions about what we are learning from the book of Genesis chapters 6-8!

Uncover Luke 4 older teens - Jesus wants you to be like the prostitute!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our Uncover Luke,
a programme 4 older teens to engage with the Gospel!
We'll run these meetings one a month in the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church.

Uncover - See for Yourself!, is an interactive Bible Study for Young Adults created by UCCF to engage with Luke's Gospel, which was written as an investigation into the life and purpose of Jesus Christ. Uncover will help us to investigate Jesus’ claims and experience the life he offers.

Tomorrow with Justin, we'll engage with Luke 7:36–50 and we'll see why Jesus wants us to become like the nameless prostitute!

God's Word gives us Rest! 
We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ who is our once-for-all atonement which gives us God's everlasting Rest!

We'll be exposed to the beauty of Christ who enters in our storms and gives us His life!

MySpace Club 4 Teens - Blocked



Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
the My Space Club 4 Teens
we offer during the school-year.
We organize this club for local kids,
in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.
In this way we have a fantastic room with a courtyard in Budrio Library and the social workers are sending some of the kids they follow. As part of our club, we also offer help

Tomorrow we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material, interacting with the theme: Blocked!
 
We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: The Chair-wink-run game, Shoes in piles, The video story, The One Person, The newspaper challenge, The Inclusive Circle, Block or Follow, Room 101, Healthy Blockage?, The Secret Rule Game, The Key, Exclusive/Inclusive Ideas which will serve as illustrations to the Talks given by Justin & Stefano from Luke 14:15-24!

Exch@nge 2017 Planning & Envisioning Meeting




Tomorrow morning Stefano & Justin will meet @
Youth for Christ Italia office to plan and to envision
the 2017 Exch@nge Camps.

There will be representatives from 5 churches from Bologna involved in this outreach project for teenagers, and for the first time a representative from the regions of Puglia and Tuscany.

We'll work together to choose a common theme for the camps, a series of Bible Talks and to organize the programs for the 5 camps we're planning to run, including the launch of Exch@nge Foggia & Exch@nge Florence!

Please pray for us that we'll be guided by God's vision & wisdom in this incredible Gospel opportunity!

Christianity Explored @ Le Torri Lounge

Tomorrow afternoon
we'll launch our new monthly Christianity Explored Course,
for every age-group!

Tomorrow with Stefano we'll engage with Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We'll run these meetings hosted by

We'll play lots of fun & interactive games like: The Presidential Turkey Pardon, Hunt for the Turkey, Thankful or not?, Scavenger Hunt, Texan Thanksgiving, Pin the Hat on the Pilgrim, Label the Words, Thankful Pictionary, Your Future Thanksgiving and The Story of Thanksgiving which will serve as illustrations to the Talk given by Maura from 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18!

Thanksgiving Family Meal


Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in the US, so we decided to celebrate an Italian version.

In the evening we'll all meet
@ Justin & Carli's home for a bring&share meal.

We've invited to families we are getting to know quite well through the MySpace Club!



Join us in praying that it will be a great Gospel opportunity to celebrate the goodness of our Lord and to share the many reasons we have to be thankful to God this year!

IDOP 2016 Bologna - International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Tomorrow we'll have a joint service of five churches in the Bologna area for IDOP 2016,
the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church promoted by the  
World Evangelical Alliance
and Open Doors.

This year our church Impatto Budrio is organising the day. Stefano will preach in the morning from Mark 10:13-34 focusing on Jesus' words: "Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold 
now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, 
with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life."

In the afternoon Justin will lead the prayer meeting,
in which we'll intercede for the World focusing on the
5 nations at the top of the World Watch List 2016:
North Korea, Iraq, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Syria.
These prayer points will be introduced by
Nuova Speranza church.

We'll intercede for Ghana where Muslims are agitating to have sharia established in the north of the country.
Marychris will explain the YfC Lighthouse for under-age asylum seekers in Bologna where they reach many of these migrants coming from Ghana.
These prayer points will be introduced by
Nuova Vita church.

We'll intercede for Pakistan where Christians are severely targeted by strict blasphemy laws.
Jenny will explain the MySpace club for kids in partnership with Budrio Social Workers where we are serving Muslim families including some from Pakistan.
These prayer points will be introduced by
Impatto Budrio church.

We'll intercede for Nigeria where Boko Haram threats to bomb churches and kill Christians.
Sergio will explain the Food Bank collection where the local church has served in 3 stores alongside 20 migrants from Nigeria hosted in San Lazzaro town.
These prayer points will be introduced by
San Lazzaro church.


Gianpaolo, pastor of Forte Torre church, will conclude this prayer time interceding with our brothers and sisters from the persecuted church worldwide and for those from these countries we are reaching out on our door steps!
