MySpace Club 4 Teens - Level Up +4: Rage Quit

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have
our My Space Club 4 Teens
for this school-year.

We organize this club for local kids,

in partnership with Budrio Town Hall
as part of their after-school programme.

In this way we have a fantastic room
with a courtyard in Budrio Library
and the social workers are sending
some of the kids they follow.
As part of our club, we also offer help
with their English home-works.





     


Together we'll engage with the YfC Rock Solid material,
interacting with the theme: Level Up +4: Rage Quit

We'll play lots of fun games like: Rage Quit, SuperMario Mushroom Perseverance, Planking Challenge, Co-Op Mode, Give Up or Keep Trying, Keep Going, Rage Quit Vs Slow to Anger, ReadyPlayer1, BonusLevel, WaterDance, which will serve as illustrations to Stefano's Talk from James 1:19-26 + 2Timothy 4:7-8, where we'll see how easily we can deceive ourselves and how instead only in Jesus we can finish the race!

AppExodus - Mid-Week Bible Study - Exodus 7:14-10:29

Tomorrow evening we'll have our

AppExodus (Applying Exodus), 

our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies 

in which we'll keep interacting with 

what we're learning through the preaching 

in our Sunday services.

Justin will lead this time where as 

church-family we'll engage with what 

we are studying from Exodus 7:14-10:29!

Chiesa la Piazza: 5 years of Gospel, Community & Mission in Budrio

Tomorrow afternoon, we'll have a special thanksgiving service for the 5 years since the first service of our church-plant in Budrio.

We'll have greetings from many friends of Budrio, from Italy and abroad to celebrate this anniversary of God's faithfulness, which has given us to love 
this beautiful community, embracing the values of  
Gospel, Community & Mission!

Justin will take us through these 5 years, 
while Stefano will preach from Philippians 1: 3-11.  
In conclusion, local story-teller Tiziano Casella, will read a poem he dedicated us!

We'll play lots of fun games like: Balloon Cup Crash bandicoot, The big bosses, The game changing moment, Jesus Vs The big boss, Why did He came? The perfect game, Cheat Codes Memory Challenge, Unlimited lives, The biggest game changer, Bonus Level, which will serve as illustrations to Justin's Talk from 1 Corinthians 15:55-58, where we'll see that Jesus once an for all defeated on the cross the big boss of sin!

Mid-week prayer meeting

This evening we'll have our mid-week prayer meeting with our church family.

Stefano will lead this time dedicated to 
the 5th anniversary of our church-plant with a reflection from Psalm 89:1 and  
2 Corinthians 2:14. 
We'll have a time to thank the Lord for how he is building our church family, opening doors for the Gospel in our community, and for his work on a global level!

Uncover Luke 4 older teens - Evidence A: Does Jesus make you angry?

Tomorrow afternoon we'll have our Uncover Club,
a programme 4 older teens to engage with Luke's Gospel!
We'll run these meetings one a month in the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings as church.

Uncover - See for Yourself!, is an interactive Bible Study for Young Adults created by UCCF to engage with Luke's Gospel, which was written as an investigation into the life and purpose of Jesus Christ. Uncover will help us to investigate Jesus’ claims and experience the life he offers.

Tomorrow with Justin & Colin, we'll engage with
Luke 1:1-4 & 5:17-26 and we'll that Luke tells us that he has carefully investigated the accounts of Jesus and has written his orderly account so that we can carefully investigate these things for ourselves.

Sunday Service: Exodus 9:13-10:29 - Jesus, the one who recreate us!

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service
to worship God together and to proclaim
His Word in Budrio.






We are glad for the Lord's provision of the main room in
Le Torri dell'Acqua, the theatre&modern art-gallery right at the centre of Budrio, well known as a cultural meeting point.

At 10.00 we'll start our service with our series on The Book of Exodus.
With Justin we'll engage with  
Exodus 9:13-10:29 - Jesus, 
the one who recreate us!
Together we'll see see the beauty of Christ,
in being active in his mission, while:
"we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies." Romans 8:23.




Nino & Tiziana will lead our children's programme
based on The Gospel Project for kids,
in which week by week kids engage with the same
Bible passage and families will have activities
to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

Conference & Sunday service @ Reggio Emilia Evangelical Church

On Saturday and Sunday,
we'll be with our friends from the
Evangelical Church in Reggio Emilia.

On Saturday Stefano will speak on
being a missional church for our community

and on Sunday will preach from
Genesis 1:1 - 2:3 - And God rested!

Christianity Explored - The World We All Want!

Tomorrow afternoon we'll continue with our Christianity Explored Bible Study,

for every age-group!
We have now a regular group of students,
so after having completed our studies on
the Gospel of Mark and Luke,
we engage with The World We All Want course to discover together the big message of the whole Bible.
We run these public meetings @ the Café of the theatre we use for our Sunday meetings!

The World We All Want presents the gospel through the Bible story. It presents the biblical worldview that people need if they are to understand the work of Christ.
Often presentations of the gospel are individualistic, focusing on an individual's relationship with God. It then becomes difficult to teach people about the church except in functional terms or terms than contradict the message of grace. The focus of the Bible, however, is on God's plan to create a people who are his people.


Tomorrow with Stefano
we'll conclude Session One:
God Promises the world we all want -
Revelation chapters 21-22 + Mark chapter 5.

The course begins by engaging with people's desire for a better world, showing how God promises such a world in the Bible and how Jesus gave us a glimpse of that world. This provides a natural point of contact with people; a common aspiration.
It establishes at the beginning of the course a reason why the Bible story is so important. As the course develops, however,
it makes it clear that this world cannot be human-centred,
it must be God-centred.

Tomorrow, we'll have a Family Evening 
to share food, friendship & Gospel.

We'll have a time of games & relax to enjoy the gifts of the Lord of friendship and of church family!

Stefano will lead a time with God's Word, interacting with Isaiah 43:1-11, where we'll see the beauty of God's promise to be always with us, to save us!
