Sunday Service: Matthew 1:2-17 - Who belongs to Jesus' family?

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.  







 
We are glad for the Lord's provision during the COVID restrictions of the School Room Fornasari-Grossi.

At 10.00 we'll start our service with our series on The Gospel according to Matthew - The King & his Kingdom!
With Stefano we'll engage with Matthew 1:2-17 - Who belongs to Jesus' family? Together we'll see see the beauty of Christ - who said to his disciples: - whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. (Matthew 12:50)
 
 
 

We'll have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage and families will have activities to keep interacting with God's Word during the week.

Prayer Meeting - Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not!

Tomorrow evening we'll have our monthly prayer meeting to grow as church family. In this moment, for our midweek meetings, we'll still meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM.
Stefano will lead this time of prayer, where as church family, we'll continue to apply what we're learning form Crosslands module: Gospel Change.

We're engaging with Unit 8. Holiness - conversations learning how the Holy Spirit' work in our sanctification impacts our feelings and we can turn this into specific prayers.

To understand and apply this biblical truth, we'll engage with Psalm 42 and Psalm 103.

Theology for Breakfast with Crosslands

Tomorrow we'll continue
our series of meetings:  
Theology for Breakfast! 
Following Luther's Table Talks example, we'll meet from 9 to 11am @ Central Café in Mezzolara where, while enjoying a breakfast with capuccino & croissants, we'll engage with God's Word discovering the beauty of theology in our everyday life!

We'll interact with the Crosslands module: Gospel Change. With Stefano we'll engage with Unit 8. Holiness - conversations.
The goal of the Christian life is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ (Romans 8:29). Together we'll learn how to apply the Gospel to our everyday life. We'll find out how change takes place as God’s truth is applied to the heart, and also how to effectively minster the Gospel to those around us.

Sunday Service: Visiting Preacher - Giulio Abortivi

Tomorrow we'll have our morning service to worship God together and to proclaim His Word in Budrio.  







 
We are glad for the Lord's provision during the COVID restrictions of the School Room Fornasari-Grossi.

At 10.00 we'll start our service and Giulio Abortivi, from Forte Torre Church in Bologna will preach from Matthew 6:7-15 - Praying as Disciples.

During the service we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper proclaiming Jesus' death and resurrection until he comes! 

We'll also have a children's talk where kids will engage with the same Bible passage.

App"I Wills" of Christ - Mid-Week Bible Study

Tomorrow evening we'll have our App"I Wills" 

(Applying the "I Wills" of Christ), our series of Mid-Week Bible Studies in which we'll keep interacting with what we're learning through the preaching in our Sunday services. 

 

In this moment, for our midweek meetings, we'll still meet through the video conferencing app ZOOM. 

 

Stefano will lead this time where as church-family we'll engage with what we are learning from Jesus' I Wills in the Gospels.

A blessed Baptismal Service

We are truly thankful to the Lord for yesterday's beautiful baptismal service we were able to celebrate in this time of COVID restrictions in the open air context of Budrio Swimming Pool.

We organized this as a joint service with the Evangelical Church in San Lazzaro and the Mayor of Budrio was present for the whole service with about hundred people.

Chris Brown preached from Titus 3:3-7.

What a joy for our church family to listen the testimonies of how Christ called and saved Grazia, Raffaela and Ezio and to celebrate their baptism together with dear Vittorio, Manuela and Ercolina of the Church of San Lazzaro!

Join us in praying for the walk of faith of these dear brothers and sisters in Christ and for the many friends and relatives who heard a clear Gospel presentation!

Baptismal Service

 

Tomorrow morning we'll meet at 9.30 am at the Public Swimming Pool of Budrio for the joint Baptismal Service with the Evangelical Church in San Lazzaro of Ezio, Grazia and Raffaela from our church and of Ercolina, Manuela and Vittorio from San Lazzaro church.

We are truly grateful to the Lord for the privilege of publicly celebrate during the COVID restrictions, the new birth in Jesus of these loved ones, for their testimony to friends and relatives, and for the renewed Gospel partnership with the Evangelical Church of San Lazzaro.
