We
are glad for the Lord's provision of the meeting room at the social center Magnolia, a well known cultural meeting point right at the centre of Budrio.
At 10.30 we'll start our service and Philip Schwartz, form the Bethel of Houston Church team who will help at our Exchange Camp, will preach on "Seeking our heavenly home" from Hebrews 11:13-16.
We are also people who are journeying towards a heavenly home, because this world cannot be our home. So in Jesus we seek our heavenly home: by faith, focusing on God’s reward, remembering God’s affection for us. Since Jesus has done this and prepared a home for us, let us follow these words from the writer of the book of Hebrews “Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.” Hebrews 13:13-14
During the service, we'll celebrate the Lord's Supper following the words of Hebrews 12:1-2.
After the service we'll have a fellowship lunch and a training time for the volunteers of our Exchange Camp.
In the evening we'll join a musical event to raise founds for a home for disable people affected by the flood, where the team will perform some Texan Line Dancing!
